to take more than 30 minutes , you can simply stop halfway to a bixi station , plug in the bike and take another one 2 or 3 minutes after. So it won't count as more than a 30 minutes usage ;-)és dans le centre-ville.
pay $5/day for transport????
bixi bikes all weekend. i LOVED IT so much.
The BIXI in Montreal
montreal looks really nice. i'm on my way
be any cash and we will be injected with an RFID chip that will be used for driving permit, bank card, health card passport etc. We already have driving permit "plus" with an RFID to get in the US without a passport See Aaron Russo interviewed by Alex Jones about this mark of the Beast.
éal and to get to the other end of the canal (some 14km west of the Old Montréal), enjoy the scenery and come back to a section of town where BiXi is available, that would cost you more than $5.00 !!
:)
Reminding you, as mentionned in previous comments, that Bixi is 5$ + hourly fees. Before the launch, I was clearly told by Stationnement de Montreal that it was 5$ no extra charge, an information that was than re-verified and re-confirmed, only to be told later that there had been a mistake. S
orry about the confusion. SO. Let's re-set the record straight since I'm still getting questions about it. 5$ is your basic charge. It gives you 30 minutes.
When I return, I simply take another one, return it in less than 30 minutes,
that way you only get charged your 5$ It all depends what use you make of it.
The system is being exported to cities across the globe. It would be great to see our community come together and be proud of a green initiative made in Quebec that is setting an example of green living and innovation around the world. Smiles, Tamy @tamyemmapepin (Twitter)
